Our Purpose:
The Kentucky Regional Paranormal Society is a society that is dedicated to seeking out the truth and finding evidence in Kentucky area that supports our claims that there is life after death and ghosts and spirits all around us. Through hours of field investigations and research we are one step closer everyday of discovering our main purpose and goals to better understand the unexplained that is all around us and try and make sense of it all. Our main research tends to focus on communication. We work to learn all we can about Kentucky's paranormal side. Our team members are serious about the work we do. They strive daily to research, review, and analyze all the evidence and documents collected to rule out a suspected haunting. With time, persistence, and a bright outlook, the KRPS will strive to reach its mission and goals. We conduct our own thorough investigations free of charge. We realize there are other paranormal groups out there for you to choose from, and that’s why we go the extra mile to ensure that the job we do following our unique protocol and standards to serve you best. EVP's are the voices found on any recording media device for no known explanation. Many of these voices are thought to elaborate from the deceased. The KRPS is conducting research to better understand and detect these voices. We have collected many voices through out many investigations that we do. Once analyzed by our EVP technicians and submitted to our reviewed by our President, and then passed on to our Technical Director where they are evaluated even more and then uploaded to CD. This is because we don’t want to damage or wear out the original tape. Each time a tape is reviewed the quality slightly dissipates. This also prevents us from having to go back so many times and listen to see if we missed anything. Uploading them to a CD allows us to use voice recognition software on computers. The KRPS uses a scale of A, B, C, D to rate these voices and log them on our official EVP case report logs. “A” is the best, “B” is fair, “C” is poor, and “D” means that we can’t understand the voice. The recorder voices may be quiet or hard to interpret at first, and that’s why we train our EVP techs to have an “ear” for the voices when listening. When listened to properly, you can make out whether or not the voice is male or female, young or old. Messages that are 2-seconds or less are usually just words spoken quickly. The KRPS has developed a special project to detect voices and understand them called the EVP experiment. The program’s goal is to obtain as many voices as we can and then analyze them to see if there is a pattern to their occurrence. We want to see what levels of intelligence the ghost/spirit can have. In many cases upon review, certain members names have been called out, words spoken have been repeated, and amazingly enough our team has been recognized by ghosts and sprits as being back to visit them. In one particular EVP at Perryville Battlefield, we got “They’re Back.” This is an excellent example that the entity knew we had arrived again to investigate. Our goal with this new program is to try and make contact and understand the messages that are being conveyed to us. In most cases we believe that many of the deceased know what a tape recorder device is and will come through to it. We hope this project will allow us to gather as many EVP’s as we can so we can help and better understand what is going on with these hidden messages.
